To collect, preserve and display the school's photographs, papers and artifacts

To staff the alumni office and maintain current files of all SDHS graduates

To sponsor and assist in class reunions and annual homecoming events

To publish for the alumni a semiannual newsletter
- To support and assist the school and the SDHS Foundation
- To promote school spirit and pride in the students through historical knowledge
